Lorenzo Ricardo Stanford-Vaughan, (more commonly shortened as LORENZO RSV) is a rapper/performer born and based in West London.
Lorenzo initially began rejecting London and idiolising America in regards to music and culture - until learning to embrace what he calls the “grittyness of the city which is actually what makes it beautiful.”
This is evident in Lorenzo’s songs, where he notably puts a very London inner-city vibe/colloquial slang over tracks that would stereotypically be related with very "americanised" vocals or rapped over with an american accent by British people idolising US hip-hop-trap scene.
Despite starting to do grime at 12, Lorenzo grew tired of the repetitiveness of the genre and naturally delved into the rap scene, although not considering himself as a rapper Lorenzo prefers to refer to himself as a performer, stating:
"Yeah i can rap, whether it's grime, hip hop you name it, but what my songs mainly focus on is the catchy melodies allowing you to remember them and turnt at my shows...right? Aha
No matter where i go or what i do i want people to remember that i'm still a kid at heart, and you can hear that through my music.”
